The Swim
The Flowers Sea Swim is Grand Cayman’s flagship sporting event. Last year’s family friendly event boasted over 900 swimmers. Participants range in age from 8 to 80, and in skill level from novice to Olympian. The unique draw is not only the flawless course along Cayman’s beautiful Seven Mile Beach, but the numerous random prizes.
In 2017, the Flowers Sea Swim will be celebrating its 25th Anniversary, making it an extra special year for northern Colorado swimmers to experience a great destination swimming event.
Three events offered
- Saturday, June 10
1 Mile Swim (1,000 swimmers maximum) - Monday, June 12
5k Swim (90 swimmers maximum)
or
10K Swim (50 swimmers maximum)

Transportation
Air
Group air transportation will not be available. Please book airline reservations as you would normally. Rates as of mid October are in the $600 range, and could go as high as $800, book your reservations early. To make group ground transporation easier, please use the following preferred United Airlines schedule.

Ground
Group ground transportation will be arranged for a nominal fee. The beach, swim starts, dining and other areas are within walking distance of the hotel.

Sunshine Suites Grand Cayman Island Resort will be our host hotel, and offers the best in affordable boutique lodging. A short walk from the sparkling ocean waters and white sand of Grand Cayman’s famous Seven Mile Beach. Enjoy the convenience of a prime location near the race finish.

- King Suite: $179 group rate
- To qualify for group rates, we must book a minimum of 10 rooms
Additional 23 percent tax and $30 per night resort fee. Extra adults charge after two persons is $25.00 per day. Under 18 years old there is no additional charge, maximum of four people per room.
