This year the Pure Pactola Race is scheduled for August 29, which is significantly later than past years. I know for me, August 29 will be a busy time, school will have started for many (I'm teaching at FRCC), and it's just a short time away from the local Horsetooth Open Water swim on September 13.
A number of us have already booked camping for July 9-12, and a large pontoon boat has also been reserved for that weekend. If you are interested in hanging out that weekend... food, fun, laughter, swimming in beautiful Pactola Reservoir... please consider joining us that weekend. Just let Doug know if you would like to join. You do not have to come up on Thursday, you may come for any combination of days you would like and as your schedule allows.
It will not be an organized race, no prizes, just time in the Black Hills away from the Front Range.
